Startling Statistics

22 veterans commit suicide per day. And that's only from 21 states reporting. The actual number is probably more than twice that number.

In addition, there are more suicides among active duty military than the number of soldiers killed in Afghanistan - 349 last year.

The VA and the Pentagon expect those numbers to be even worse this year.

Erasing the Distance is preparing to tell the real stories of members of the military and veterans who are dealing or have dealt with mental health issues such as post traumatic stress that others can realize they are not alone.

If you know a military family, let them know about our project. They will be invited to see the show for free.
