As Our Fiscal Year Winds Down, ETD Asks For Your Help

As we round out our fiscal year at Erasing the Distance, we ask that you please consider making a tax-deductible donation today.

Your monetary support increases our ability to reach out to the community with meaningful productions like the recent Finding Peace in This House and Good Enough. Both shows received critical acclaim from theatre critics such as Chicago Reader's Justin Hayford, who raved that Good Enough "has all the emotional sweep and intellectual rigor of great art" and "gives us five meticulous performers who tell simple, first-person stories chronicling the isolation, agony, and chaos that mental illness can bring."

With your help, we will be bringing two new shows to the Chicagoland community next season: Will You Stand Up?, a visceral and moving production about violence and its impact on our mental health (November 2012), and an exciting new show created in collaboration with students from University of Illinois at Chicago featuring the mental health experiences of Asian-Americans (April 2013).

Your support also allows us to continue working with middle schools, high schools, colleges, faith groups, and other community organizations, generating awareness and sparking compassion around issues of mental health.

Help us make this a reality with a donation today to Erasing the Distance. Our fiscal year ends June 30, and every dollar you can spare is of enormous importance to our small non-profit organization.
