Looking forward, looking back

This weekend, Erasing the Distance is gearing up for a mini organizational retreat.  ETD artistic associates, staff, and board will get together to celebrate successes of the year, and plan for the year ahead.

Did you know?
In this fiscal year alone, Erasing the Distance has reached over 10,000 people with our theatrical works and community dialogues about mental illness and addiction. Between 2005 – 2009, we reached 10,000 people, which means we doubled our lifetime audience total in just ONE YEAR!

At our mini-retreat, as we generate ideas for the coming year, we'll also collectively review our organizational values. The Erasing the Distance values include:
  • Creativity
  • Initiative & Follow Through
  • Shared Leadership
  • Open, Courageous Communication
  • and more!
(Check out our values listed here).  These values help guide our decisions and behaviors.  Sometimes they are ideals to strive for, sometimes they are very much present on a daily basis.

Thanks for letting me share a little bit about the mini-retreat.  I'm looking forward to it, and I'll post again here to let you know how it goes!

Wishing you a healthy Friday,

~ Oriana
